IPL PHOTOFACIAL
✅ Before Your Appointment
-Avoid sun exposure and tanning (sun or beds) for 2 weeks prior—your skin must not be tanned or sunburned.
-Discontinue retinoids, glycolic/salicylic acids, and exfoliants at least 5 days before treatment.
-Stop using photosensitive medications or antibiotics (if possible) 7 days before—check with your doctor or provider.
-Do not use self-tanner or bronzers for at least 10 days before treatment.
-Come with a clean face—no makeup, moisturizers, or products on the treatment area.
-Avoid Botox or fillers in the area for at least 2 weeks before treatment.
-Let your provider know if you’ve had any cosmetic procedures, lasers, or peels recently.🚫 Do Not:
-No sun or UV exposure for 2 weeks pre-treatment.
-No waxing, threading, or chemical peels for 1–2 weeks before.
-No aspirin, ibuprofen, or blood-thinning meds (if cleared by doctor) for 48 hours prior.
-No spray tans, bronzers, or makeup on the day of treatment.📅 Aftercare (Bonus Tips)
-Use gentle skincare only for 3–5 days (no scrubs, acids, or exfoliants).
-Apply broad-spectrum SPF daily—your skin will be sensitive to sun.
-Expect mild redness or darkening of spots—this is normal and fades in a few days.
-Do not pick, scratch, or exfoliate the treated area as pigment spots flake off naturally.
-Avoid hot showers, saunas, workouts, or makeup for 24 hours post-treatment.✅ Skin Conditions Treated with IPL Photofacial (Alma Harmony XL Pro):
